Withdrawals and Deposit Refunds

If you wish to withdraw your child from the centre, you must provide at least 1 month’s notice in writing. Months are calendar based from the 1st to the last day of the month. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in the forfeiture of your deposit plus a charge for the full monthly fee that would have been due had you not withdrawn your child. Should your child wish to return at a later date, all the monies owing plus the forfeited deposit must be paid before the child can return.

If adequate notice is given your $100 deposit will be refunded; providing your monthly fees, subsidy amounts, late charges, NSF fees, and/or other such charges are paid in full. Should any of these items be in arrears the deposit will be forfeited to cover the monies outstanding.

Deposits are not refundable if you decide to cancel your spot before your child starts. Your child must attend for 30 days before a deposit is eligible for refund.

There are two options to receive a refund.

Option 1: You may deduct your deposit amount from your last monthly fee cheque. Please make this clear to staff when you present your cheque. To use this option your account must not be in arrears.

Option 2: Have a separate refund cheque issued by the Centre. Please wait 4 – 6 weeks from the last day attended for your deposit refund cheque to arrive. Cheques will be mailed to the last known address of the custodial parent unless other arrangements are made.
